Our Approach to Privacy

Hedge My LP is a non-custodial, on-chain protocol. We do not require accounts, collect email addresses, or perform KYC. We collect the minimum data necessary to serve the application. Your funds and positions remain under your control at all times.

1. Information We Collect

Wallet Addresses

When you connect your wallet via RainbowKit/WalletConnect, your public wallet address is used to display your positions, process deposits, and interact with the Hedge My LP smart contracts.

Wallet addresses are public data on the Arbitrum blockchain. We do not link wallet addresses to real-world identities. We do not store wallet addresses in any off-chain database.

Technical Data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server logs when you visit hedgemylp.com. This may include:

  • • IP address
  • • Browser type and version
  • • Pages visited and timestamps
  • • Referring URL

This data is collected by Vercel as part of standard web hosting. We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. We do not set cookies for tracking purposes.

On-Chain Transaction Data

All interactions with Hedge My LP smart contracts (deposits, withdrawals, hedge adjustments) are recorded on the Arbitrum blockchain. This data is publicly visible, immutable, and not controlled by us. Blockchain data includes your wallet address, transaction amounts, timestamps, and contract interactions.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • • No email addresses. We have no newsletter, mailing list, or email-based accounts.
  • • No personal information. No names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or government IDs.
  • • No KYC/AML data. We do not verify identity. There are no accounts to create.
  • • No tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking.
  • • No analytics platforms. No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar services.
  • • No social login. No OAuth, no "Sign in with Google/Twitter."

3. How We Use Collected Data

  • • Wallet addresses: to read your on-chain positions, display portfolio data, and facilitate smart contract interactions during your session.
  • • Technical logs: to maintain service availability, debug errors, and protect against abuse. Logs are retained per Vercel's standard data retention policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Smart Contract Interactions

Hedge My LP is a non-custodial protocol. When you interact with our smart contracts:

  • • You sign transactions with your own wallet. We never have access to your private keys.
  • • Funds are managed by auditable smart contracts, not by us.
  • • You can withdraw your funds at any time without our permission or involvement.
  • • All contract code is verified and publicly readable on Arbiscan.

5. Third-Party Services

Hedge My LP integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing data they collect independently:

  • Vercel (hosting): serves the frontend application. Collects standard server logs. Vercel Privacy Policy
  • WalletConnect / RainbowKit (wallet connection): facilitates communication between your wallet and the application. WalletConnect Privacy Policy
  • Arbitrum / Ethereum (blockchain): all transactions are permanently recorded on public blockchains. Arbitrum Privacy Policy
  • GMX V2 (perpetual shorts): hedge positions are opened and managed via GMX smart contracts on Arbitrum. GMX
  • Arbitrum RPC providers (blockchain data): the application reads blockchain state via RPC endpoints. RPC providers may log the IP addresses of requests.

6. Data Storage and Security

We do not operate a backend database for user data. The application is a static frontend that interacts directly with on-chain smart contracts.

Server-side data (hosting logs) is managed by Vercel under their security practices and data retention policies. On-chain data is secured by the Arbitrum network and inherits its security model.

7. Your Rights

GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we process:

  • • Right of access: request what data we hold about you.
  • • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • • Right to erasure: request deletion of your data from our systems.
  • • Right to restrict processing: request that we limit how we use your data.
  • • Right to data portability: request a copy of your data in a structured format.
  • • Right to object: object to our processing of your data.

In practice, because we collect minimal off-chain data (only hosting logs managed by Vercel), most of these rights are best exercised by contacting Vercel directly for server log data, or by using a VPN to prevent IP collection.

On-chain data is immutable by design. Blockchain transactions cannot be modified or deleted by any party.

CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
  • • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • • Opt out of the sale of personal information.

8. Children's Privacy

Hedge My LP is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has interacted with the protocol, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the protocol after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
